Zさん:"Ready to go to 7-11?"
Aさん:「Yup, let's go. Did you know though that in Japan, '7-11' is actually called 'seven-and-i-holdings', due to some legal requirement of the international conglomerate that owns them.」
Zさん:"Wow... Japanese culture is so mathematically advanced that they have started to name stores with complex numbers."

  1. Z-san explains: "In math, 'i' is the square root of -1, or the imaginary number. If you combine a regular number with an imaginary one (e.g. "7 and i"), you get a complex number."
