Basketball

Dくん:「Ok, around the back, left-hand layup, nothing but net.」
Eくん:「Got it.」

Games of horse are much shorter in Japan. Not because of a lack of talent, but because of a lack of カナ。

  1. Z-san explains: "In America, there is a basketball-related game called 'Horse' where players challenge each other to make difficult basketball shots. For every shot missed, a player is 'given' another letter of the word 'Horse'. If a player gets the whole word, that player loses. In Japanese, the word for horse is うま which has only 2 characters instead of the 5 in English."
